Good afternoon caffeine addicts and fitness enthusiasts alike. The word needs to spread that this weekend we’re teaming up with DST training facility and some professional athletes to raise money for a good cause at the ping pong for charity event. If you’re reading this, there’s a good chance that you’re a Houstonian or at the very least a Texan (if you’re not, we still love you all the same) and went through hurricane Harvey recently. We’re teaming up with the facility, some badass vendors, some of the Astros and whoever else wants to come out and support the event in an effort to raise money for hurricane relief around the Country. While I can’t brag about my personal ping pong skills, I don’t mind getting my ass kicked publicly in ping pong (maybe next time it’ll be a deadlift challenge, here’s to hoping) if it’s for a good cause and at the very least, we’ll be hopped up on Clutch Town brew to get us through the day.
The event will feature a silent auction, raffle tickets, food trucks, $5 entry for anyone who wants to attend (kids 12 and under are free) and of course we’ll be there selling to donate, sampling, talking and hanging out with you guys! This will also be the first time we’re rolling out our new CTC T Shirts, so at the very least come grab one! Whether you feel like talking sports, training or coffee (I don’t follow sports, so training or coffee), stop by and say hi!
